GRAY ON!

School has officially started and fall is slowly creeping its way in. Make a statement this season by incorporating high fashion glamour with everyday fun. The look featured on the left embodies an edgy hairstyle while maintaining a feminine sex appeal. This look uses my favorite fall color GRAY!The color gray is perfect for fall because it can be paired easily with plum and orchid colored pieces which traditionally are associated with the fall season. Also instead of stocking up on more black for the winter season gray can serve as a happy medium in your wardrobe. Below is an example of gray done correctly.

The GLOW

Hello BOMBSHELLS, People always ask how do I get the glow on my cheeks? Today I will teach you tips and tricks to get that beautiful sun kissed glow that will keep you captivating attention all winter long.

Tip 1# EXFOLIATE: With fall/winter slowly approaching so is the start of dry, flaky, and cracked skin. To keep skin smooth and soft use a gentle exfoliator such as St.Ives apricot scrub or for my more natural girls an alternative/tip from my fellow Bombshell Eileen recommended doing a honey/sugar scrub pieced along with a hint of lemon juice. It is sure to leave your skin bright and soft.

P.S Honey has acne fighting agents so if your having a bad skin day. apply some honey to the affected area, leave for 15 to 20 mins then rinse.

Tip 2# MOISTURIZE: to keep skin soft and protected. Every skin type is different so according to your skin type choose a moisturizer that is best for you. I have oily to combination skin. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer with spf 15 it contains tiny shimmers that add a subtle glow to the entire face. Also the spf 15 prevents Uva/Uvb rays which prevents premature wrinkles and freckles.

Tip 3# HIGHLIGHT: My favorite highlighter of all time is E.L.F's All Over Color stick in golden peach. I start by dabbing my buff brush to the stick. Then I put it on my cheeks working it upward towards my eyebrows. To create a more defined cheek I place a bronzer underneath the highlight to create the illusion of more defined cheeks. My favorite bronzer is Victoria Secrets Bronzer in Sun Goddess. If you would like a more subtle glow Nars Illuminator in Super Orgasm works wonderfully.

You Can Never Have Too Many Shoes

Payless Shoes

Every girl loves shoes! But what makes shoes even better is when they're on sale! I've recently made this purchase from Payless since they were having their BOGO sale plus 20% off since I had a coupon code. Three of the shoes pictured are from designer Lela Rose's summer collection for Payless. My favorite are the green wedges because they have a nice structural design and they also provide height giving me mile long legs! Too bad summer will be ending soon and I won't be wearing them for long. However, the blue pumps are year round which I am loving! I wore them last night to dinner with my friends. They aren't too bad to walk in just make sure you put on some gel inserts! I always bring my gel inserts with me just in case because you never know! As for those sandals they will be returned to the store since they are slightly too big for me. Happy shoe shopping now!

Bold Red Lips Make A Comeback

This fall DARE to indulge in a BOLD red lip. Paired with a neutral smokey eye or a winged out cat eye. This trend is sure to make heads turn. There are many ways to rock a red lip. First thing to keep in mind when picking out the best shade of red is to know if your skin complexion is warm or cool.

If you have a warm complexion a satin lip color with an orange base works best to bring out the olive tones in the skin also with warmer skin tones you can mix brick reds with the orange red to make dual layer of red that is sure to leave people wanting more.

If you have a cool complexion a nice matte red lip color works best.Usually people with cold complexions have fair skin. The matte red color works with the peach undertones to brighten and enhance the lips while not adding to much shine.

Quick Tip: A trick to make lips pop and look a little fuller you can apply a clear lip gloss to bow of the top lip and the middle of the bottom.

Red lipstick can be found pretty much every where ranging from drug store to high end. Finding the perfect lipstick can be difficult. Some suggestions for where to start.

Drugstore brands: Wet and Wild has nice satin finish lip colors. They apply smooth and last for good amount of time. Also Revlon has a good selection of Matte lipsticks that range from cherry red to plum red. Revlon lipsticks go on very smooth and are very affordable.

Department brands: M.A.C always has great lipstick ranging anywhere from matte to satin giving you an excellent selection. Another great brand is Clinique they have a variety of satin lipsticks that soften and moisturize while you where them.

Four words VICTORIA SECRET NFL COLLECTION

Hello Bombshells,

Today I decided to stop into my favorite store of all time Victoria Secret and to my amazement I came across the most beautiful green and grey clothing items with the words EAGLES across the top. A smile instantly came across my face as I sorted through a pile of shorts looking for a size small. Victoria Secret has recently released football attire within the last two years. Signing a deal with the NFL in 2010. Since then the collection has sky rocketed to become one of the most popular items to have for the fall season. Football is a sport men and women can enjoy. So show some pride BOMBSHELLS and sport your favorite NFL team in style with panties, hoodies, shirts, shorts and sweat pants with your teams monogram and maybe even a cute quote. DARE TO BE FASHION FORWARD IN NFL ATTIRE. I THINK SO.
